Regular open rate: 45-50%
Regular clickthrough rate: 4-6%

 

Generally, promotions will go out the Monday after you purchase. I create newsletters on Thursdays and Fridays, and the BLG is published on Mondays, so I must receive your purchase by Thursday morning for it to go out the next Monday.

 

For events or timely articles, please purchase your placement at least three calendar weeks before the event. To balance the newsletter, I may choose to only publish a certain number of promotions, so the earlier you submit your event/promotion, the better.

 

All promotions must:
 
– Be fully size-inclusive
– Be fat-positive
– Not contain or support white supremacy, ableism, weight stigma, diet culture, homophobia/transphobia or other systemic oppressions

 

If at my discretion I choose not to publish your promotion, I will refund your $5. If you submit an event or timely piece too late for it to be published according to the guidelines above, a refund will not be issued. Paid promotions are indicated in the BLG with an asterisk.*

– The URL of what you’d like to promote (must have something I can link to – do not send images)
– For events/anything timely, the date of the event as well as when ticket sales will close
