This lovely piece by artist Kathryn Max is a quiet one, but it reminds me every time I see it of the quiet joy I have when standing at the edge of bodies of water — the ocean, rivers, lakes, streams, even little ponds. I’m so lucky to live in the Pacific Northwest where there’s every kind of water imaginable, easy to access.
