{The Body Liberation Guide} They’ve done a survey of fat people and they’ve written a report

This month, we’re having a pretty special event in the Body Liberation Blanket Fort. Dalia Kinsey, author of Decolonizing Wellness, will be leading a discussion circle on Saturday, September 28 for healthcare providers to:
- Explore weight neutrality and healthcare
- Find and question their biases around body size
- Discuss how body neutrality, fatphobia, and the BIPOC experience intersect in health care
- Share and explore their body stories
Our experiences with our own bodies are reflected in the way we interact with patients and clients, so show up ready to do some emotional work in journaling exercises and discussions.
This event is limited to Blanket Fort members who are healthcare providers and those who use Health at Every Size® principles professionally, to allow providers to be vulnerable and prevent well-meaning but insensitive comments from harming community members.
