This is such a common experience in the fat community, and I’m holding everyone who’s experienced it in my heart tonight.
You are worthy of love and a stable, happy romantic relationship(s) right now, in your current body, at your current size. Anyone who loves you less in a larger body doesn’t deserve your attention.

Privilege is unearned, but it’s not something you need to feel bad or guilty about. Let’s work to extend those privileges to the most marginalized bodies, too.
