{The Body Liberation Guide} ✨ Basking in my own glory
Hi friend,
I’m taking a little time off this week, so no main letter from me. Next week, I’ll send you my guide for setting boundaries over the holidays.
In the meantime:
1. Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to present on race, body image and sexuality at the Seattle Erotic Art Festival, or SEAF. I’ll be running a workshop at next year’s festival as well.
SEAF’s call for art for the 2025 festival is open now, and the organizers are particularly interested in art from superfat, fat, queer, BIPOC, disabled and other marginalized groups, so don’t hesitate to submit your work!
2. Yes, I’m planning to go to Fatcon Seattle in January! And yes, I’d love to meet you/catch up/hang out. It’ll be an overwhelming few days, so I need to think about ways to do that that won’t leave me an overstimulated mess. Maybe a gathering before/after? Maybe also some mini photo sessions available before/after?
Speaking of Fatcon, you can also donate (as a fat person or ally) or sponsor the event to help make it a great experience for all the fat and otherwise marginalized folks who will attend.
